Remember how god damn good this show was until the end?

Man. Rivalled the wire imo. People who disagree have never heard of philosophy or literature

I watched it all on Netflix, so I never was a part of all the viral stuff and anticipation, but it was really compelling. It was difficult to stop watching because each episode drew you on to the next. It reminded me of Heroes in that respect: lots of mysteries/conundra that usually birthed more of the same.

I hear that there was a Coda on the DVD that deals with Walt/Benjamin. It's not on instant queue

Sweet, its all on netflix? I'm probably not even going to watch the second half of season 6 or whatever the last one was. The only show to almost make me cry- the constant? That episode was soooooooooo fucking good.

It was a great show, but I could never go back and watch the series again. Its maybe a dozen hours of legit material stretched out into a hundred. Cut out all the bullshit and just watch Jack, Desmond, Ben, Locke, Alpert and Chucky Widmore episodes. Like anyone gives a fuck about Sun and Jin.

There was a really good part in one of the later seasons when Hurley throws a hot pocket at the wall.

But seriously as soon as they got off the island it wasn't fun anymore. Everything after season 3 was downhill. I still remember how incredible the "Not Penny's Boat" part in "Through the Looking Glass" was when that immortal dude Mikhail killed Charlie.

I watched this show when it originally aired and absolutely fell in love with it, although it does get a little bit ridiculous in seasons 5 and 6. My girlfriend and I are rewatching the entire series on netflix right now and we're in the middle of season 5 right now. Just as good as the first time I watched, it truly is remarkable how the producers were able to hash out this extremely complex, albeit absurd, story line. Oh, and I love the series finale, I don't care what other people say. It was an extremely fitting end

i watched the first two seasons on dvd several years ago and somewhere in the middle of the third, still completely enthralled and in the middle of an episode, something clicked. I stood up and said "this is fucking stupid." Turned it off, gave the dvds back, and haven't thought about it since. Kinda glad, too, that's a lot of hours that I would have spent watching TV.

^^Thats the problem. It works and the whole show had the feeling that there was no fucking way the end could work. Its like if you started watching porn and you were like, oh thats totally a dude, and then she didn't have a wee-wee
