started off with one of these guys back in 96/97, then got a star tac, and then finally got on my own plan and got that nokia like EMCE

then this nokia

and then finally a as my last non-smartphone phone.

from there I went through a series of blackberries, starting with the old work-issued side-scrolls, proceeding through the trackball era and now I still have a work BB with the trackpad thing replacing the trackball and and iPhone4 for personal use.

yeah those nextel rugged phones were tanks...

not my first phone, but it was a brick.

and then this one got run over by a car after i it left on the hood of my truck.

it managed to stay on the hood for a 1/2 mile or more before it fell off...eventually got run over by another car. then someone saw it on the side of the road, picked it up and called my brother and returned it. somehow it still worked after that, even though it was beat to hell.
