I am very interested in it. What is the length? I have a spot that I am pretty sure is big enough but I just want to make sure.

Thanks,

looks like a standard 75gal, so it should be 4 feet long.

$125 if you can meet me in Durham (about halfway between Burlington to Raleigh). I can get it Saturday.

I'm going to be at the coast until Sunday evening. I can meet in Durham if you are not afraid of being in Durham after dark.

I dont know if its the angel of the pictures but it seems to be a 55gal (12in wide vs 20" for a 75).

Like I said, maybe its the angle, but measure it and see.

i think it looks a bit taller than a typical 55 gal, probably same length.

Unlike the vast majority of users selling things on Tdub, Sparky actually has a functioning brain. I'd be awfully surprised if he mis-measured/mis-quoted what he's selling.

Just because you're the resident aquarium nerd doesn't mean you know everything.

LEAVE SPARKY ALONE.

What part of my post required you to be a douchebag in your reply exactly?

Im simply stating an observation, nothing more. If Im wrong, Im wrong, big whoop.

Take your pill and go back to chit chat.

Edit: Put the pics in my cad program and it seems to be 48x20x12 which would indicate a 55gallon. If its some odd size and the pics arent showing it correctly then I apologize to Sparky for bringing it up, already PM'ed about it anyways.

To me the side looks 12", not 20", like Taikimoto said.

1' x 4' x 2' = 8' ft^3

7.48 gallons per cubic foot.

8' ft^3 x 7.48 gal/ft^3 = 59.84 gal (full) or a 55 gallon tank.

I'm siding with Taikimoto

Second fishnerd agrees that it appears to be a 55, the lighting looks like standard 12" units

hey man thanks for backing me up but Taikimoto may be right. I based the volume of pictures off the internet since I wasn't around the tank when I posted this add. I really need to measure it to verify the volume. it may very well be 55 gal.

also, sorry for not getting up with the interested parties yesterday. i didn't get back into town until late last night. let me verify the measurements this afternoon so we can get an accurate volume and then well continue the negotiations.

measurements are 12" x 48" x 21" so i guess that would make it a 55gal. if you are still interested let me know.

Haha oh god. My faith is RUINED. Plus I knew it would create a fairly decent nerdfight.

I'd buy it if I had the willpower to maintain an aquarium.
