most pharma companies and a lot of clinical research companies are closed. we are one of the few that are open. all my counter parts in the EU have been off since Wednesday and probably won't come back to work for another week or so.

not even close there... I had full time jobs during every summer of high school, during college, after I got my first degree, and then worked 30-35 hrs a week until I got this job after my second degree.

and even so, what does it matter- I'm not heart broken that I'm working, just curious who all is working as well as everyone on FB is bragging about their holiday.

that and having today off would have been really helpful in getting an early start on my dg camping trip, so I believe I do have fair reasoning to say I wish I had gotten it off. but cest la vie, I will survive.
