noses?

They walk around/ sit in lectures like little kids snorting and trying not to drip snot. Are they not aware that everyone can hear it? Can you not take claritin/sudafed, use a nasal spray or blow your nose?

WTF I assume this was common sense.

Maybe they don't have a tissue, and you should offer them one?

I have in the past. For offering this or to buy cold meds, I've been cussed at, called racist ( ), and somehow come to look like I was nuts. Apparently, this is acceptable for today's average college student.

"But, I'm sick!" (in an unattractive lazy fat girl whine)

There are students giving a mini presentation that obviously just woke up, w/ cat butt still in the eye, and sniffling every other word. This is driving me batshit.

if so, I know what'll be in your comment field

For these, nope. They are just a random weekly thing. I wish I could peer review.

I'd be a fucking rockstar. By 8am, I've showered, dressed (at least business casual), been in the office 2 hours, had breakfast, driven 45 min to campus, and ample caffeine.

Some people are born with noses that run with normal cold weather. I don't find it advisable to take sudafed under completely and totally normal conditions.

That's not as bad as I was picturing. I thought you got in at that time every day... I usually roll into the office at 9, and I consider that a victory.

I have to ask. When you offer a tissue are you legitimately offering them a tissue with an outstretched arm or are you saying, "Hey buddy, would you like a tissue??? "

And anytime you offer to buy someone cold meds you are going to come across as an ass, because that is never a serious offer and always used as a way to point out that their sniffling is annoying you.

In other words, I think I know why people curse at you or give you attitude about it.

So, you carry tissues around with you and offer them to people with runny noses?

Once during a final exam I was sick and my nose started running - well, if you want to call it that. It was more like bright green snot would not stop coming out, and it was thick and disgusting. I was in the middle of the row and it would have been a huge pain to step over everyone so I just used my sleeve and hoped no one would hear me trying my best to keep my sniffling quiet one of my best friends sat next to me and when I asked her later if she could hear me she said she didn't notice, so I guess I was stealthy enough.

But my sleeve... Oh boy. it was awful.

I carry tissues around with me, and I'm so conditioned to pulling one out every time I hear a snotty nose now I would probably just take it out and grab the back of the person's head with one hand their nose with the tissue and tell them to blow.

Well now I always have napkins and tissues - it scarred me for life

It was terrible... Also taught me to never sit in the middle of those tiny ass rows in Bostian during a test ever again

I don't take any kind of medicine at all for simple and even moderate problems. When society collapses and we live in the wasteland I will be the one who can weather through. Also I seem to only get sick on fault of my own, ie getting drunk and sitting outside with no jacket in the cold for hours on end.

I'm Krallum and I approved this message.
