you can't kick the head of a grounded opponent. One hand was on the ground. I don't like the rule because it lets people abuse it and do tactics like in the video. I prefer pride rules where kicks the head were perfectly legal on the ground.

Technically I don't know if his hand was on the ground when the kick landed. I can't find any other angle but it could have been a legal kick. Either way you shouldn't do dumb tactics like that.

see, when I think of a 'downed' opponent, I think of an opponent that can't get up. As opposed to what appears to be an opponent that chooses to fight on the ground in this case.

Looks like the hand may have not actually been in contact with the ground at the moment of impact. Even if it was I am completely okay with the guy getting rocked like he did
