Took me an hour and fifteen minutes to get from Cary to Morrisville this morning. It's normally a 9 mile/20 minute drive. 54 was back up so I jetted over to Old Alex to High House and High house was backed up. I took High House to Davis and Davis was backed up. Took Morrisville parkway and it was backed up

Tuesday when I got onto Wade it was already backed up past Edwards Mill.
I ended up doing Edwards Mill -> Ebenezer Church -> 70 to get around it. Worked great, very little traffic.

Yeah the I-40 east bound entrance at Gorman St was blocked off this morning. Luckily I was headed west bound where traffic was lighter than usual (thanks to rubberneckers further east checking out the accident )

haha yeah US-1/64 was a parking lot this morning. I ended up getting off at Walnut Street and getting onto 40 from Cary Towne Center. Hardly any cars on 40-W from there I'm guessing because of the rubberneckers.
