I don't think the rest of the the world combined could project military force onto American soil, at least up until the point that we were strangled due to having no foreign trade.

I also don't know that we could defeat China in terms of being able to forcibly occupy and subdue their entire country (I don't know, maybe we could if we pulled out the stops and went all WWII-total war style on them).

Sheer number of soldiers, yes, China has an advantage. But no one on the planet has the air or sea reach that US has in its military. Russia comes close, but China certainly does not.
