No. It's where Hi-5 used to be. Their burger gets pretty stellar reviews, fwiw.
Bogarts turned into a tex mex place iirc.

Hi-5 used to have all you can drink PBR for $10

I strongly dislike this place. I went there for UNC-State Acc tourney game and although the bar was 50-50 UNC fans and State fans, the place went out of it's way to appeal to the UNC fans. I won't be going back.

I believe the NC ALE requires set volume for pricing.

^^^ I've been wondering the same thing how they get around the ALE rules. Maybe the rules changed unannounced.

what about events like the world beer festival where they don't have limits?

or places like PB's when they have the free beer? (i guess it's actually 1 cent beer though isn't it? it's been a while!)

I believe the beer festival gets away with it because they are 3oz "samples." And yeah, places will have one cent beer but it's against the rules to give away beer.

I've also wondered why recently in supermarkets they can give free samples of wine and beer.

Damn, didn't know this one. Definitely have bought alcohol off the internet before.

Didn't see anything in here about free beer and the like but I didn't look hard either: http://www.nccrimecontrol.org/div/ale/chp18b.pdf

I hate driving downtown, even being a passenger is bad. My friend ran over someone a few years ago, so it's just reinforced my reason of being uncomfortable driving downtown.

haha yeah, we were watching a game at TOBIR and someone asked me if I was going to Draft (which I had previously never heard of), and he proceeded to tell me about the deal... and it made me wonder why I had spent double the deal price on busch light that afternoon/evening

I visited and barely recognized hillsborough a year and half ago. I left when downtown raleigh was ramping up. I knew of a lot of things in the works from working with developers and designers, but never saw a lot of it.

Good beer prices? I remember them being a little high. $4 mash house pints (i was not impressed), and five for any other pint. Don't know if I'd call that good...

It is. Burgers are beyond decent, and yes, a couple bucks more than ale houses and the like.

^ agreed! when i saw the expiration date of 2017 i almost bought like 10 of em, then got control of myself and opted for 2...the next they emailed that they fucked up on the expiration date and it's actually 2012.
