Whenever I meet black people in small towns, for some reason, they never try to push slang, culture, or anything on me. They sound polite and very articulate in spite of whether they are poor or rich or whatever.

But then I go into a city and it's all about unfair this and unfair that.

the one black guy i met in maine dressed and sounded like a white guy with a really dark tan

didn't see any others, so i don't know if he was the exception, the rule, or the only black guy in maine

Just an observation, but whites and blacks seem to get along a lot better in small towns, but appear to regard each other with caution in a city.

It's probably because there are fewer black people in small towns and people aren't able to segregate themselves as much.

the shit that mystifies you all...

did it ever dawn on you that there are social/cultural differences among places with varying populations and infrastructure? and i dont think this counts for only 'black people'
