In case you hadn't heard about it, and on the off chance a student might see something posted on tdub:

http://honestnc.com/apri-provides-shuttles-to-early-voting-for-ncsu-students/

Quote :
"Students can catch the shuttle from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day between Monday April 30th and Friday May 4th in front of Reynolds Coliseum."

It starts today!

If you live on campus, isn't the polling place at Pullen? No need for a shuttle.

So don't be a retard like the other NCSU students that have been showing up to the polling place my mom is managing. She said most of the time the students show up to do on-site registration but have zero identifying information with them, then get upset when they're told they can't register to vote if they have no paperwork proving they live in Wake County.

With one stop early voting you can register or update your information when you go to vote, and vote at the same time. But that's on during early voting, so you wont be able to do it on primary election day itself on May 8th.

In NC you don't need an ID to vote generally, but you do need identifying information when you're first registering or updating your registration.

I believe these are the kinds of things that work as proof:

Quote :
"SAME DAY REGISTRATION
Fill out a voter registration application
in person at a One-Stop site and meet
all regular requirements for voting.
Provide appropriate identification
with current name and address.
The following documents will serve as
acceptable identification:
• A North Carolina driver’s license
• A utility bill (phone, electric, cable
television, or water bill)
• A document from a local, state, or
U.S. government agency (passport,
government-issued photo ID, property tax bill, automotive registration, certified documentation of
naturalization, public housing or
Social Service Agency document)
• A student photo ID along with a
document from the school showing
the student’s name and address.
• A paycheck or paycheck stub from
an employer or a W-2 statement
• A bank statement or bank-issued
credit card statement "

If you have any questions google your county board of elections, find their phone number, and call with your question. There are people paid with your tax dollars sitting there to answer questions.
