That sucks. He was one of only a couple athlete's posters hanging on my wall when I grew up. This is one reason that I would encourage my son to pursue any sport other than football.

This could be the start of something big. While old time players do this, younger fans tend to brush it off. But Seau was still fresh in everyone's mind. He only retired a few years back. Litigation will be thru the roof.

this was the guy that drove his own car off a cliff a couple years ago, after being arrested, and claimed he fell asleep. depression wasn't a new thing. concussion related, we may never know.

Oh, don't get me wrong, TMZ has tons of credibility with me when they break sudden deaths..

The issue I have is that I feel like they gossip about most everything else they talk about. Especially in those instances when neither side can prove it.

suicides happen every day...whats sad is that it takes a celeb to bring awareness to the mentally impaired or unstable.
