I haven't followed Coto too much, but I figure it should be a good fight for the first few rounds. Hoping Coto in good licks to make Money really have to fight instead of dancing.

That was lame. This is the second title fight I have watched for free thanks to an internet feed and both have sucked. I have seen way more action on FSN Top Rank and ESPN Friday Night Fights.

^It was a normal title fight. They danced around the ring and didn't throw too many punches. Friday Night Fights is more exciting.

Mayweather never knocks out anyone unless it's from a cheap shot like he had with Cotto, and Pacquiao has been kind of boring to watch lately, not having a knockout in three years or so. If they ever do meet up, it's going to be 12 rounds of bullshit and a controversial decision with Mayweather winning, even though Pacquiao will have landed more power punches.

I think we'll probably get this fight next year, but it's a fight happening 5 years after it should have much like the De La Hoya / Mayweather matchup. Mayweather doesn't want to fight a southpaw with a strong knockout punch until he's past his prime and lost some of his strength.

Bob Arum is no more crooked than Richard Schaefer or Don King. He just tends to be more vocal about the crooked moves he's made to get his fighters promoted.

This fight is not happening because Mayweather has nothing to gain and everything to lose from this fight. It's why he's asking for such a ridiculous payday on this fight, because he knows that if he loses then his calling card of "undefeated" won't be the PPV selling point he's relied on for the last several years. With a loss on his record, people will look back at him and say he never fought anyone in their prime. Mayweather is going to wait it out until Pacquiao has lost some punching power or started to deteriorate from his offensive boxing style, or he'll dodge the fight indefinitely and retire. He's got a stable full of bullshit fighters under his promoting label that he can throw in the ring with him and keep getting paid to beat up on them. He doesn't need to take the risk against a real fighter.
