I know its very unlikely but what would happen in the event of a Kings Stanley cup appearance along with a Lakers Clippers series? Seems like there would be unavoidable conflicts with all of the home games. Van Halen June 1st LMAO June 5th would only make matters worse.
It would be interesting to see if the NHL could force the NBA out of prime time or vice versa to allow time for the venue to be switched from basketball to hockey on a weekday.
We are already looking at a very interesting situation as all three teams are the lower seeds starting game 1s on the road today, tomorrow and tuesday. This means by the weekend, they all will be moved back to LA as the lower seed.
17th kings 18th lakers 19th clippers and lakers 20th kings and clippers
The sparks also have a game schedule at home on the 22nd, 29th and 3rd
3 basketball teams 1 hockey team and two major concerts

According to face they are both incredibly heavy underdogs. 5/14/2012 6:25:56 AM |

Semi-related to the topic: having 2 teams in the same league with the same home arena is fucking stupid.
I, too, am interested as to how this one plays out. 5/14/2012 7:55:50 AM |

The Clippers were getting 20:1 odds last I checked to beat the Spurs.
The Lakers have a much better chance than that, but still heavy dogs. 5/14/2012 2:40:28 PM |
