I can say that facebook killed 80% of any interest I might have had in attending. Work, travel time, and a general lack of wanting to see people comprised another 20%

i went to the 5 year reunion, which was way more fun than i was expecting.

i graduate in 2005 though, so every christmas is still more or less a small reunion.

I didn't go to the reunion even though I was in town, but I did meet up for breakfast with some good friends from HS who were in town for the reunion. I've kept in touch with the ones I cared about, but I have a few friends who now live across country so it was a good opportunity to see them and get the group back together.

I went to my 5 year back in 2003. It was ok. I skipped the 10 year to sit in the rain with no rain coat and watch the Wolfpack get their ass kicked in football by South Florida.

Ours was cancelled. The class president basically was MIA on planning things and they people who stepped up to fill his role fell through. Our class was always the lazy one though, we threw a sucky prom.

The only reason to go to these things is to laugh at how fat everyone got, and facebook has made that really easy.

I didn't go to the 5 or the 10, I can't imagine I'll go to any of the other ones. I don't even attempt to keep in touch with more than a handful of those folks, I'm sure as shit not going to travel to see them and reminisce about stupid bullshit that wasn't all that great to begin with.

I went to mine last year (NBHS '01). I thought it was fun even though hardly anyone came. Those who did knew me though, I had a couple strangers whose names did not sound familiar at all come up to me and be like omg CAROLINE!!!!! REMEMBER ME??.... ehhhh yeah sure! then there were a couple of girls I was really close to but I lost touch with so that was nice. Then there was this one girl who I didn't recognize or put together who she was until later, which makes me sad because I really like her in HS and I kinda blew her off at the reunion lol. Actually there were a few folks there that look nothing like they did in HS, where as I'm constantly told that I haven't changed one bit... In all, I was really glad I went, which is funny cause I hated high school and in particular I hated NBHS, but mostly because of the snobs and none of them were there

On a side note, I thought about posting a pic or two from the reunion here but I was so drunk! so so so drunk! I brought a date who kept getting me alcohol from the cash bar. So they aren't the best pics in the world
