Exactly. If you don't use your voucher before the expiration date, the amount you paid is still redeemable at the establishment. I still have some Chubby's groupons from last year that are expired but I can still use them for what I paid ($8)

Then maybe that's it. The few times we had expired groupons; they refused to accept them in anyway. There was no mention of "but you can still put the value paid toward your meal" or whatever. ::shrug::

^^ It says it on the fine print of the voucher when you print it out, but that doesn't mean the teenager behind the counter knows that. I've had a couple of vouchers where I've had Groupon give me credit because the store was being a douchenozzle about redeeming the voucher.

I'm going to be putting in a claim here shortly. I had a $40 groupon that I bought for $20 that expired. I went to the restaurant and they told me they don't take Groupons anymore and to take it up with Groupon. I sent it to Groupon and they referred me to this settlement. I just want a Groupon credit.
