Women's locker room at my gym. It's a small gym, and in the 8-9 years I have been there, I have never had to secure my locker and have anything stolen from my purse.

And now that I have said this, it's bound to happen now.

I worry about you leaving your stuff unattended at Starbucks. Too much trust and we don't have the money to buy you another MACdaddy ThinkPad.

I left a Wendy's Frosty Strawberry Shortcake Parfait on an empty table to make a quick pit stop. In the approximately 45 seconds that I was gone, nobody even tried to poison me!

I leave my poop in unflushed toilets. I typically have no qualms about leaving it unattended.

Nothing more annoying than adult women leaving their pee drops on the toilet seat for the next lady in a public restroom. I don't get it.

It takes about 2 seconds to wipe and flush.

i do not. Always packed up my stuff and brought it with me if i needed to piss at the library, and i wait for someone i know to be sitting at the table if I have to use the restroom when I have my laptop at a bar (which is usually for fantasy sports reasons)

my parents never lock the house when they're gone. My dad leaves his keys in the car also but he drives a POS he doesn't care about

I leave my laptop unattended in the grad study rooms very frequently but in the normal library spaces, less often.

At the gym, I have a little sports bag with my keys, notebook, cellphone, headphones & shuffle, and water bottle that I'll leave unattended in a little cubby in the workout room. Unless I have to change clothes or shower, I don't bother with getting a locker.

But, I'm also the type of person who never locks the house. (But I ALWAYS lock my car.)

Pretty much everyone at my gym does it.

And as far as the house is concerned, I live in the boonies. Folks aren't just walking around wiggling door knobs to find one that is unlocked. If they're at my door, they are there with a purpose and going to break in even if the door is locked.

No one has been robbed....until they are. No one's house has been broken into, until it has.

Wreckless and irresponsible.

I always packed up my stuff when I was at State, unless I was in a keypad-locked study room.

I keep my car locked and I the house is locked at night and when we're gone. However, it's never locked when I'm awake and home.

I've lived two different places that were burglarized and they went in despite locked doors. They just busted out the glass and went in.

^haha. I lock doors when I'm home, but leave things unlocked when I'm not.

i've left stuff when i was studying at panera or starbucks. i didn't think anyone would be dumb enough to steal my shit since it a) my laptop is a pos and i would have loved for someone to steal my books and b) it was in plain view of everyone who worked there, too. when i was in the airport a couple weeks ago i had a layover that was several hours long and i carried allllllll my shit in the bathroom with me. it was a pain in the ass to hook everything up in a tiny ass stall, but, ya gotta do it.

95% of the people I know who have had stuff stolen from their car had left it unlocked. a friend of mine had stuff stolen when parked next to me, but I was fine because I locked my doors. I have had windows broken before, but thy were after my sound system. hell, i installed a safe in my truck to.lock up guns/valuables and I still lock my doors

I've always wanted to move someone's car to the back of the parking lot when they leave it running in the firelane, then watch them freak out when its not there.

haha they were paving Blount St. about a month ago, and I sat at Calavera watching them tow people's cars to Davie St. so they could get their work done

I wish I was around long enough to see people's faces when their cars were gone, only to realize it had just been moved to another location

i rarely leave anything valuable out if i'm going to be gone more than 5 minutes.

but i grew up in the country...you couldn't see my house from the road, it was down a long driveway on what was a dirt road before they paved it ~10 years ago. my parents, mostly my dad, always leave their keys in the car at home and if they do take their keys out they still won't lock the car door.

i've always thought people that leave their vehicle running when they hop out at a gas station/convenience store are pretty damn stupid.

I rarely leave anything unattended and have still had quite a few things stolen from me.

Someone stole a Camry on Merwin or somewhere thereabouts a week or so ago. Owners left the keys in the car overnight while parked in their carport.

I have walked my girl out at 9:30 at night and found the interior light on where someone checked my truck for goodies. Thankfully they didn't find any as far as I could tell. I'm sure other neighbors weren't so lucky.

Motherfuckers will go through your car looking for change if it's unlocked. Lock yo shit.
