That was in Lavonia, Georgia, and it's closed. You are probably confused because they had about 100 billboards for it in South Carolina on I-85 South.

I guess we'll find out when the price lowers enough for it to be considered okay.

What are prices back in the Triangle like right now? I haven't been in the US since February. Hell, I don't even remember what they were like when I left at this point. I've only even been in a car a total of like 3 times in the last 4 months

I'd really like to see diesel cheaper than gas, but i don't want to think about what the prices will be when/if that happens

I don't see that happening ever in the US. US refineries are optimized to produce gasoline not diesel. Until that changes (doubtful) diesel fuel will always cost more. Of course I could be wrong as I'm no expert...but that's what I've read repeatedly.

so was diesel cheaper before because of the relative demand for gas vs. diesel?

diesel is the primary fuel for moving goods, but there are a shit-ton of cars on the road... With trucks, trains, boats, airplanes (jet fuel is similar at least), military, and heavy equipment i'd think that its close at least. what are the numbers for gallons produced yearly of each i wonder?

South Carolina's below average gas prices are reflected by the conditions of the roads

Getting close to election time.

Just wait until after the election when they raise gas prices "due to war with Iran" and "conflicts in the middle east".

Don't forget the money collapse and the military takeover

Jet fuel is pretty much kerosene, which is somewhere between gasoline and diesel fuel.
