if it were a fair fight, then that would be one thing... but if you have 3 college football players coming at you, it is a different situation. Not saying a gun was the best choice, but you can't just say "oh, man up and raise the fists." I went to a keg race and there were some State football players there, and they confused me with someone else and ganged up on me. I got out of there. These things happen. shame it cost those guys their lives, but idiots will be idiots and get themselves in bad situations. Apparently it was all over a chick? that is what an "eye-witness" said on the news earlier

I saw a 145lb NC State wrestler beat the shit out of about 5 delta sigs my sophomore year in college. Guns were unnecessary at the time.
