trying to find a nice insole as a gift. reviews of the super feet insoles are all stellar but $45 seems high. Wondering what's the best insert that can be had for around half that($20)

as a currently pregnant woman with incredibly painful feet, my $0.02 would be to get something squishy. i'm very quickly narrowing down the shoes i'm able to wear just bc it hurts so bad to stand up. there is no walking around barefoot at all anymore. anyway, in my opinion, superfeet wouldn't be the best option. they're great insoles for normal people, but i would opt for something much much softer. i was telling my mom this morning i was just going to wrap my feet in bubble wrap & memory foam.

as much as i have talked shit about how ugly crocs are in the past, i ordered a pair & they came in today, & i can't wait to try them on. it's worth it at this point.

anyway, all pregnancies are different & women handle things in different ways, so ymmv

$45 isn't bad for decent, generic insoles.

If squishy is what is suggested, then do NOT get Superfeet. They are extremely hard (on purpose).

Trust me, I used to sell running shoes for a living.

as ugly as these things are, i think crocs are going to be the ticket here until my feet return to normal. i can actually stand in one spot for longer than 20-30 seconds & not rock back & forth or run back to my chair.

As someone who works in the lab standing up, good insoles are worth the investment.

I use the Dr. Scholl machine at Walmart to match my feet. Takes a day to break in, but the difference is night and day!

I did not use them with my other pregnancy and I wish I had.
