I know a lot of people liked Oden #1 (me not being one of them...I loved Durant in college and as a future superstar)...but I don't think it was unanimous and a lot of people debated between him and Durant.

I was definitely a proponent of taking Oden #1 overall. He was pretty much the best true center in college ball since Shaq. His body didn't hold up so I was obviously wrong about the pick, but there is also a reason that Anthony Davis is the undisputed #1 pick this year over a guy like MKG or Beal. There are a lot fewer elite true centers out there than wing players.

I'll give you a pass if you couldn't see him being one of the top 5 players in the league (that's bold for anyone coming out of college)...but if you watched Durant play just a few games in college and couldn't seem him as a perennial All-Star, then any of your basketball related posts from here on out should be ignored.
