Hello Everyone,

A recent friend has told me this was a great website and hopefully I shall meet some good people here. I moved to Raleigh two weeks ago and, unfortunately, due to an incident unrelated to student housing the NCSU student housing has just given me a temporary eviction notice pending the outcome of the investigation. I have two days to vacate. Given that I do not drive, my housing options are limited to places close to the NCSU campus (walking distance is highly preferred).

About me: I'm a Russian male, 25, moved to Brooklyn when I was 8 years old and grew up around Manhattan for the majority of my life. I am currently a graduate student at NCSU in pursuit of a 2nd master's in Analytics. I present well in any company, well spoken and success oriented. While my focus here is first and foremost school, I certainly know how to entertain a crowd. Based on what I have seen of Raleigh so far, you would be hard pressed to find a better wingman.

If you do not have a place in mind for me, but could steer me in the right direction, this would also be greatly appreciated.

Are places with bus access (Wolfline) out of the question? Significantly opens your options.

How long are you needing a place? Search for subleases, that could at least get you to the fall where you can get your own lease

Moore Station sounds about right for what you're looking for. Close to NCSU, Downtown, and bus connections to everything.

You need to call Capital Area Transit (717-238-8304) ask for the emperors palace reserved for NCSU master students.

There's plenty of cheapo places along avent ferry that are on the wolfline.

I bet it's going to be next to impossible to get approved for a place and have it move-in ready within a day though. Finding one that's furnished will be extra difficult unless you can talk them into renting out the model.

In regards from my charges, I didnt leave communism to live in fascism. Yes, taking 5 seconds to pull out my ID would have avoided me a night in jail but I would at least like to believe I still have rights in this country. I was intoxicated, but I was not acting drunk nor disruptive. Besides if you can find anyone around wolf village past 10 pm during summer session to disturb (besides the help desk all of whom I know all by name and say hello to anytime I walk by) let me know. I am a good person and do not feel the same way about the officer.

Besides the housing situation, I was just terminated from my graduate program and given no appeal process based on these libelous charges. I really like North Carolina but it doesn't seem to like me at this time. At least not from the legal perspective.

^this is why you listen to cops in this country, they are going to fuck you over if they can AND you let them, I don't know who told you cops were nice here... also libelous charges ? no ... that is what happens to any person in this country, citizen or not, if you refuse to give them your ID
