Aaron Shepherd sang with weekend excursion from age fifteen at which time he had left his fathers home
Grades sank from 4.1 to .18 GPA...He was sent to Oak Ridge for academic reasons...Here he graduated top 10 in his class with highest combined SAT and ACT scores and three varsity letters including color guard and honor guard as well as a Full Scholarship to West Point....He liked it but his friend JEff conviced him the band would make it big....he left west point and was disowned by his parents and family...on his own couches and floors he did it for three years...he began studying Islam opening his eyes to many things including his substance troubles..he took time off...upon return he asked the band to live together or help with an apartment to come out of his cut to live in dignity...the band voted no...He explained he had to work to pay bills and that the bands decision would not pay his bills literally...he is happily married now owns his own business and has two children. He still battles with depression over his decision to leave a full scholarship to flipping burgers some time ago.

Mike was interesting...at first mike was not included...he was brought in by chris...they went to st paul apostle together...and i think were in the youth group there....i could empathize with mike just like all of my friends coming up... black, pakistani, chinese, indian , white , other children of immigrants although i was popular, the goonie in me could never allow another to be picked on too harshly unless they just did something extremely dumb like punch the 9th grade bully in the face at the annual footbal high school rivalry game after cursing his own mom out and continuing to wear a cowlick...Mike got ragged by fans and some of the group but Jeff was the harshest(no respect)...i mean mike wasn't from our school he played the violin and was the chairman of the young republicans society at his school Grimsley not only that he would wear TVs, Irish rugby shirts and khaki shorts during gigs and was from the rival high school...many though his visual harmed our image but I always fely like he made a little more interesting....I mean he never really got a full cut until after 5 from six dropped...He now lives happily in Virginia with a basketball team, a career and a neat job...I mean he was announcing for Carolina baseball games, he's a teacher now but see him as a professor some day...He and I often would discuss how we were treated differently i guess we didn't really have to try hard we were naturally talented...i just wonder what happened towards the end of his stint with the band when he realized that WE was not going to make it big and decided to settle down

You get appointed.

It sounds absurd to say someone got a full scholarship to WP/NA/AFA. It doesn't make sense. Makes one sound stupid.
