Sounds odd.

No evidence that the guy was suicidal, the police also have not even said how much time he was facing, if it was not a major crime this guy would really have no reason to kill himself.

to boot, i've seen cops on tv before and they frisk guys before they put them in handcuffs and leave them in a car unattended. i don't necessarily believe that he was able to get into that car with a fucking gun on him. b/c you know, if he's able to shoot himself, he'd be able to shoot the cops, especially if they're driving and he's back there behind the fence; they'd have no way to stop him. i have to think that the police know this as well and don't put people in the car w/ loaded guns on their person.
