I was just talking about this with my GF the other night. I attribute it to the fact that most August babies were conceived in the winter, so our parents had nothing better to do than fuck (especially those of us from up north).

My birthday is Thursday, btw.

It's definitely a winter thing. Every time NC has a snowstorm there's a mini baby boom 9 months later.
