Depends on what feature is intimidating. I was intimidated by Peter because I thought he was a genius and was afraid I would sound like an idiot during conversations. After getting to know him better, I realized we have really similar views and a lot in common. I would find out what she thinks is intimidating about you.

Thanks for the input...I don't think it was a bad thing though, we have since gone a little further in our relationship so either she isn't intimidated any more or she felt sorry for me.

It could mean she thinks she is subpar in looks, you might exude a confidence that she doesn't have, maybe she thinks she can't talk to you on your level, or she just doesn't know you well and she is prejudging the package.

she's insecure about something that you excel in and she previously thought she was good at (i.e. funniness, glass blowing skills)

it may make her feel like you're just slightly out of her league, so use this to your advantage. let her know that you're into her but nonchalantly remind her that yeah, you do excel in [whatever she's insecure about] and she'll go the extra mile to prove she can hang with the big dogs (that's you)

Lol, she isnt a glassblower so I doubt she is worried that she isn't as good as me
She is attractive...I doubt she is concerned that she is out of her league. Also, she is taller than me if she wears any kind of heel shoe basically...so if anything I should be intimidated in that respect. (ok I sorta am)

I think the most accurate interpretation was sent to me via pm and it has to do mainly with us being very unlike each other. Although conversation with her is ok, we have very different interests. Don't know if intimidating is the way to put it though...and maybe blackjesus is right, maybe I am too forward ..
