Smith is currently held in the Westlake City jail awaiting transfer to Cuyahoga County’s jail. He has been charged on six counts related to the incident, including charges violating Ohio’s gun laws. Police say that Smith could be facing additional charges related to the incident. Smith has no prior criminal record, police say. It is hard to sneak in candy. I had my bag checked last week at the theaters.i laughed at the guy then remembered the reasoning and felt like an ass.

I'm not sure I see any laws broken, unless carrying concealed due to the price of admission is similar to NC's law.

I can't find any Ohio law making it illegal to CC in places that charge admission. But this theater was posted, and the guy didn't have a license to CC anyway.

^ I think carrying of any kind is against the law... But the wording that is used refers to "charging admission" so free tickets may not fall into that category

I heard that if you buy a ticket to something, you can't hide a gun anywhere on you and enter the event. Not in a holster, not in your belt, not in your ass, nothing.
