fast forward to 1978 where I was born in the US.

Had I been born in India, I'd have been forced to use my right hand.
Often times when other Indians pick up on the fact that I'm a lefty, they always seem shocked.

My kindergarten teacher told my parents that they should reprimand me if I did things with my left hand. I was the only one in class to color with the crayons in my left hand so I guess she thought I was demented or something.

If I try to write things with my right hand, the writing looks like I just had a stroke.

being left-handed is a pain in the ass.

i think you have to be left-handed to truly understand just how much we've set the world up for righties. power tools are the worst.

I am one of those weirdos who is right handed but does a lot of things (except write and throw) left handed

Half lefty. I do fine motor skill activities such as writing left handed, but I throw a baseball, swing a bat, and shoot a gun right handed. Both feel natural and have good form.

I did take all my notes for a history class one semester writing with my right hand. I never felt graceful, but I did gain a decent competency.

I couldn't imagine shooting a gun or swinging a golf club right handed.

I always get noted for being the engineer that writes everything in pen, because I hate smearing pencil across my hand and I can buy fast drying ink pens.
