The digital library. Your county should have one. If not, find a way to join Wake County's or Greensboro's Digital Library.Audible is a payable option.You can also pick up a physical tape or CD from the library in person, or rent them from Cracker Barrel.

I can only listen to audiobooks if i'm doing something else that requires little cognitive effort, like driving, yardwork, etc.

I really wish there was a netflix like service for audio books. Audible is a joke, $15/month for only 1 download credit? Who wants a subscription service that they can only use once the entire month.

Seriously. Check out the digital library. You can check out up to five audio books at a time.
