However, WRAL removed the girl's name when authorities said she had been sexually assaulted. "Thank God she's safe," relative Tery Davis said. He must have exposed himself to her or something, which gets him indecent liberties with a minor.

But then I guess he had sex with her that didn't involve force or threat so he only gets a statutory rape charge.

By the way, I had no idea that you could lure a child 25 years your junior to some secluded area and then just start having sex with them, and if they're too freaked out to fight, it's only statutory rape. To me, that seems just as dangerous/predatory as those guys who hide out in the bushes and forcibly rape joggers.

So I looked it up...this is class B1 statutory rape, and if convicted, this guy will do 12 years up to life without parole.

I probably shouldn't expose myself on tdub, but I just moved into the cul-de-sac that this truck is parked in front of. It is mega-creepy and the window for it is just a huge hole that the guy cut--and it's just sitting there getting rained in every day. From what I've heard the landlords and tennants want it gone, but I'm not exactly sure who owns it. There's an intimidating guy who owns a bunch of junk cars in one of the houses, and from what I've heard it's probably him. If it is, no one is going to his house to say otherwise, even his duplex neighbors moved away.
