Hey TWW,

I've had a bunch of people ask me about doing their voice-mail, so I figured why not see who else might want one done?

Here's the deal: For $10, I'll record whatever you want for your voice-mail greeting (within reason) and send you the mp3 to put on your phone. I can do it in a movie trailer voice, a fun character voice, or just make it sound really professional... however you like. The only catch is, it has to be for your personal phone, not your company's business greeting. This price is a TWW only thing... usually I charge $20 for this.

haha.. OK, I sent this to someone via DM, but may help out here.

As far as ideas, usually people want to incorporate a part of their interests. Some like a movie trailer "You've reached the vm of ____. One man, who cannot answer. Noooow, leave a message so communication can continue..."

I've done ones with the following styles/themes:
sports
game show
smooth/sexy
monster truck show

It doesn't have to be something clever and zany, it could just be a regular, professional thing.. saying the normal type of message.

You get the idea. Just give me a point to start from, and I could help come up with something. Make sense? Thanks for your interest.

in addition to the list, he lived in Japan a long time and had a few big gigs there. all his voice overs are all in english even though his japanese is fine I don't see it on imdb, but he also did "The Riiing" for the japanese Ringu.

FWIW Don, your advice with the on hold recordings panned out exactly like we were discussing and I'm now in the process of purchasing a grip of ipod shuffles to replace these tape decks and MP3 CD players.

Perhaps I could throw you some coin for a couple of takes on our current directory/phone tree that still has yet to be re-recorded? Obviously I understand that if we chose to use anything, your rate would need to be adjusted.

I've been trying to work with our vendor to tell me how to get an mp3 converted for this, but worse case is I give you access to our PBX and you record from studio. ISDN -> ISDN/PRI should be quality.

Thoughts? Can continue over email; just wanted to give you a bump and shoutout for being awesome.

No shade toward OP, because overall this is a pretty cool thing to do/offer with your impressive talents, but I will never switch from the default "you have reached X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X" as my voicemail greeting. Voicemail greetings are in the same basket as ringtones to me. Good luck though hypaone!
