Yeah, I think about getting Rosetta stone Spanish about once a month. It actually would be very useful to be able to speak Spanish. Even more so if I move to Arizona or New Mexico in a year or two like I want to.

I took French in HS and French & Spanish in college and more or less can't recall much of any of it. Saying random things in French does sound slightly cooler than saying random things in Spanish though.

I speak Spanish functionally and wish I knew more.

If I was sitting in a cubicle all day I guess it wouldn't be very useful but as a manager in a manufacturing company, I encounter Spanish speaking folks.

I took french in middle school.

My wrestling coach, who was also a spanish teacher, advised me to switch to spanish after asking "When was the last time you ran into a family of french migrant workers at Walmart?"
