Yes, it is always in Atlanta. Tickets should be available in a week or so online, you had the option to get tickets for next years while there. The sooner you get them the cheaper it will be.

Hotel reservations go quick for the host hotels, we're staying at the Hilton next year, they opened up reservations at 3 pm and were sold out within an hour or so.

This year was pretty neat looking at all the DragonCon people by the Marta on the way to the football game. "Hey look, it's a Trekkie" and "I don't know what the crap she's supposed to be" were pretty common phrases heard on the Marta.

This is all the hotel info, Hilton is already sold out, Westin and Sherton are taking reservations right now, but may be sold out. The other two host hotels will be taking reservation in October.

Seriously, go to this thing, it's a lot of fun and is literally a 24/7 party for 4 days straight.

I'm actually going next year after observing a few years... And as I said before, I shit on it for years, but it's a damn good time. Nerds everywhere, but also hot nerdy chicks everywhere.

You might not quite get it (outside of Star Wars, G.I. Joe and some of the superhero stuff I usually have no clue who most people are) but its definitely fun and never ever boring.

Even if you don't cosplay, you'll have a great time. I had never cosplayed before (never been to a con before either) and was debating on not doing it, but glad I did, people complimenting you on your costume, asking for a picture with you, Felicia Day saying she loved your costume are all great moments.
