I plan to vote for Romney because I think there is a better chance of my wealth increasing with him as president. Probaly will vote straight republican ticket for same reason. Perhaps I could be persuaded in a different direction but I doubt it.

honestly, I'm in favor of increasing gas taxes, but it would hurt more American's than help in the long run. But high gas prices is pushing some manufacturing industry back to the US, specifically Furniture and Textiles, but not enough to offset the huge loses in other industries. But again, those that coming back aren't mass market jobs, but small business, niche markets. Atleast with Europe before they fucked themselves in the foot, they had a strong economic resonance within the EU for manufacturing due to the logistics barrier.

We need a military commander who has a background in science and engineering, but have no religious ties to be our next president... or in other words... Will Smith from I Am Legend.

Ron Paul isnt the only "third" party candidate - there are other options out there.
And if maybe, just maybe, all of us that are sick of the nonsense spewed forth from nearly every democrat and republican actually got out and voted for the "other guy" (or gal), politicians all over will question their methods of reaching the independent/swing voters (aka, the people choosing the lesser of two evils - which is the stupidest reason to vote anybody into office). Nothing will change until the people voting do so.
