So this guy at a bar last night shoved one of my barbacks and he had to be removed. He didnt have a problem with me, but he kept yelling at the barback he pushed saying that "Im gonna kick your ass, im going to wait outside this bar until he leaves"

And he stood there for 15 minutes with his arms crossed wile the barback went on about his business, it was 2 and hes trying to get the patio cleaned.

So i had enough of him standing there barking at the staff "o that guy is a bitch ass motherfucker yadayada", so i tell him he needs to shut the fuck up and leave. He then turns on me which is how its supposed to go..id rather him heckle me because thats my job.

He hits me with the usual "nigger" this "nigger" that..."get a better job...great career choice being a bouncer" etc etc I go "look man, really you need to go" I tell him hes not much better than I am if hes goign to spend the rest of his night arguing wuith a moderately amused doorman. He curses some more and starts yelling back at my barback so i shove him a little bit away from the entrance

Now he gets crazy, the kinda frontin crazy that you can see right through that the guy is a bitch and isnt going to do shit. "I JUST SERVED 35 MONTHS IN AFGHANISTAN GET YOUR FUCKING HANDS OFF ME BITCH YOU CANT TOUCH ME"

And I go, "you know what, im from Jacksonville, North Carolina I grew up around Camp Lejeune since i was born, i know military for better and for worse, they all hold themselves with a lot more honor than you...you lack any honor and you know what else? FUCK your service im sad that you made it back now roll the fuck on"

he got pissed boy and his buddies held had to push him down the street where he still waited for another ten minutes before he finally decided to walk off yelling some shit and giving me the old military salute.

But basically i woke up this morning feeling bad that I said that shit to him. In a sense i lost my cool. I want to apologize to that gentleman and thank him for his service. Missed connections?

I had a black bouncer that was the coolest mofo ever. Since I worked in South Carolina, he always got called nigger this and nigger that when he was throwing stupid white people out. He was like you, and didn't let it bother him.

The last time, however, the guy said something along the lines of, "I'm going to kill you, you fucking nigger" as he was being dragged across the street....and he ran across the street and knocked the guy the fuck out. One of the few times I've seen a guy rise up in the air from being punched.

Nothing every happened because the guy deserved. As did your guy...from your verbal retort.

I ended up hanging out with a couple of marine aircraft mechanics out in Raleigh one night. Nice guys, I bought them a shot, chatted for a bit and went on my way.

Later it's after 2 and I'm grabbing a cab when I see one of them shitfaced by himself about to get his ass kicked. I talk the other party down and for some reason decide I'm going to make sure the guy gets to his hotel safe. On the way there he pisses on a wall in front of a cop, and I talk the cop out of arresting him. He also almost gets in three more fights with random groups on the street. Every time that happens he says "I'VE KILLED TWELVE MEN" and then leans over to me and says "no I haven't". I save him from four fights and turn him over to hotel front desk and go home.

i really truly think that anyone after genx just lacks the ability to perform selfless acts thus most of the service men didn't do it because of honor but for a pay check... same with cops, firemen etc.

the older bunch i truly believe it was a different story... but our generations suck at being selfless.

even the green peace people just want recognition for what they do... not to ACTUALLY save animals.

I was a bouncer for a while. Anyway, long story short, this girl tried to get in the bar, and I couldn't let her or her boyfriend in because we were at capacity.

Instead of just moving along, she decided to deride me, and I just kinda went along with it, not really caring. Then at the end, her boyfriend got in my face and called me a little cocksucker.

So I turned around and asked him what he meant by that.

"Am I little, and I suck cock? Or am I regular sized and I suck tiny little cocks? Because one of those options is hilarious, and the other one is just sad."

He didn't know how to respond, so they left. I let the next couple in line after that.

These kind of dickhead soldiers who hide behind their military service are sociopaths. No one forced them to join the military. They knew what they were signing up for. 'Serving' in the military doesn't give you a pass to be a jackass.
