Actually there's never been a stock Miata that made that much horsepower. And since when is mid $20k's over priced?

Ever since it came out over 20 years ago the Miata has been one of the most entertaining cars to drive available for purchase. It is the most raced sports car in the US on any given weekend.

Then again some people need a "big dick" car to feel like a man and thus belittle the Miata.

It was a gray Mitsubishi lancer es 2006.

I now drive a Kia Forte Koup SX. I'm very pleased with it so far, though it is no performance car

yeah, every miata owner I've known or ran into have all been sports car dudes. They may not have a ton of power stock, but they also weight much less than most modern cars in it's class. They aren't that hard to modify either due to its popularity and its hard to find a reasonably priced RWD compact sports car in the US... that's actually fun to drive and not built like a boat.

Miatas are great little inexpensive sports cars.

Also, my gut feeling is that far more of the Miatas on the road are driven by men than women.
