I didn't see anything specifying, but maybe the reason a male paddled a female here is because the school doesn't have any female administrators, or any female administrators who were capable of paddling (maybe too old or had not gone through whatever training was required), or maybe any female administrators were unavailable (off campus, etc.).

I'm clearly just speculating, but changing the school policy may be designed to prevent a situation where the school allows one punishment only for males, which I could see people claiming is discriminatory.

^A female administrator was in the room as witness. He said that he wasn't aware of the policy.

Also, that story is quite different from the first I saw on it. Apparently SHE requested the paddling instead of continuing with ISS (it's a school policy, administration did not suggest it to her). Originally she had welts and redness that her mom COMPARED to burns & blisters. I'm confused on how the mom says that he swung with "violent upward swings" when she wasn't there. It looks like she's changing the story now that it's hit more of the msm.

Personally, the girl CHOSE her punishment, her mom CONSENTED to the punishment, the punishment was witnessed by a female administrator.... they need to stfu. So far they've managed to have the vice principal labeled as a pedophile and people are jumping on it because they're not reading the whole story and news agencies are doing everything in their power to blow it out of proportion. Shit, I can't even count the number of women that get bruised if you just look at them crooked. Welts and redness from a paddling? WTF do they expect? A relaxing massage?
