If you're in the Tryon Rd. area around Lake Wheeler and 70, keep your eye out for a ~55lb white pit bull. She went missing around 6pm last night, we were moving a bunch of stuff around and she got scared and bolted from the house. If you see her, she is absolutely harmless and is probably scared out of her mind (she ain't the most savvy little thing) so feel free to grab her; in any case, gimme a ring.

Make sure to check the shelters. Had a friend in Charlotte who lost their pit and it was hit by a car. The dog only have minor injuries, but the shelter put him down because he was a pit. I also they never told him the dog was there, even though he called multiple times.

Hope you find him soon.

Contact WCAS shelter if you haven't already. They do hold dogs prior to putting them on stray hold (on the floor). We currently have a foster that I'm sure escaped from her previous owners.

FOUND HER!!!

My gf just happened to spot her in the dark from the road, a tiny white dot in a huge overgrown field across from our neighborhood. I mean some true one-in-a-million stuff right there. She bolted at first, probably avoiding people altogether, and we thought she was gone again. Spent the next hour+ trudging through shoulder-high grasses and dark woods in the rain and just when we were about to give up she turned up. She was all cut up and dirty and scared to death but now she's clean and happy curled up next to the fire underneath her blanket.

Once again, thank you guys with every ounce of sincerity I have, it's good to know TWW still has heart
