I thought it was the most delicious thing in the world as a kid. It only consisted of two ingredients, but somehow my grandma's always tasted better than my mom's. And although it was so simple, YOU COULD FUCK IT UP....by mixing and crushing the oreos too much. You still want decent sized chunks of oreos...if not, you basically have "dirty" cool whip.

And don't get all fancy, adding layers or chocolate cake, caramel, or fudge. If you want a desert that takes longer than 10 minutes to make...then make something else. Leave this simple desert alone. My grandma made delicious coconut cakes, cheese cakes, 16 layer chocolate cakes, etc. But when she was tired and/or lazy and wanted to feed her shouldhavegrownuptobediabetic grandchildren a sweet desert...this was all you needed.

I used to crumple up a few Oreos with a little milk and stick it in the freezer for a few minutes.

Has anyone tried Oreo brownies? I can't decide if that sounds good or not. Oreo-stuffed chocolate chip cookies were pretty damn delicious though.

But I'm pretty sure I have gained about 5 pounds solely in Oreo weight in the last few months so I should probably back out of this thread

Dude the mint creme ones are the shit. I could eat the fuck outta those. I admit the peanut butter ones are nasty, and I normally like pb and chocolate together but it's too much in those.
