Whats up. Graduated a while ago and I have never had to worry about parking. Always just parked my jeep in the dirt lots. But I am riding with my parents and they would like to park in a non-student parking lot near the RBC center for tailgating purposes. Can we park at the RBC center or do we need a special season ticket pass? 10/3/2012 9:54:45 PM |

In short, no, you can't park anywhere around the RBC without a parking pass.
However, if you get there earlier enough, you can park in the big field across blue ridge rd. from the fairgrounds for free. you can also park free beside the train-tracks, across hillsborough st. from the the fairgrounds, near the blue-ridge road intersection. It's a bit of a walk. 10/4/2012 10:04:49 AM |

All of the PNC Arena (not RBC Center anymore) spots are for parking passes.

I think there's some pay lots off Edwards Mill Rd which would be about as close as you're getting to the arena without a pass, but I can't confirm that. 10/4/2012 10:05:35 AM |

Last week I parked for free in the vet school lot and plan on doing so again this week, you just gotta get there 4 hours before kickoff to get a spot. It's a bit of a hike but it's free and you can tailgate there so it's for me. 10/4/2012 12:42:05 PM |

Thanks for the input. I have been in contact with some people on craigslist. A lot are asking around $75 which is absurd. Some as cheap as $40. 10/4/2012 2:50:50 PM |

I've been parking near Edwards Mills Road/Trinity (there are a few pay lots there, $20) lately but the hotels on Westchase closest to Blue Ridge are good too. Those are $10-20 as well.
You can get free parking in those areas, but you have to get there very early. 10/4/2012 5:05:08 PM |
