somebody just tell me where a nice place to stay in dilworth neighborhood in charlotte. I hate travel websites and I inevitably end up searching for hours trying to be sure I'm not bargain-hunting myself into a fleabag hotel. I really don't care, honestly. my wife and I are just dropping off our daughter with my inlaws to get her acclimated to a night away from us. Now it's turning into an idiotic one-night vacation. I don't wanna get roped into a too-expensive place we can't explore and going to a meh restaurant for $$$. I don't want to look anymore. Just someone tell me that ____ is THE place to stay for $100, and I will take your word for it. obviously above that is fine. I'm just someone who would sleep in his own trunk to save a couple bucks. 10/6/2012 10:36:17 PM |

dilworth is mainly a residential area... your choices are stay in uptown (nice) and be able to explore and eat good things.
or head over to tryon (not nice) and stay in a ramada or super 8 and eat at some ghetto chinese place. 10/6/2012 10:56:46 PM |

I've stayed at the omni for $75 using priceline's name your own price, so $100 is definitely doable 10/7/2012 6:27:06 PM |

Quick Hotwire check has:
Courtyard by Marriott Charlotte Southpark hotel from $79 10/13/2012 11:16:49 AM |

What weekend? I just looked. Saturday the 27th using the AAA rate you can get the uptown Residence Inn for $107 or the Courtyard Marriott (pretty nice) for $132.
-if it's a weekday I know all the corporate rates.
