I just call it a "hose". But I'd say "hose pipe" before I said "garden hose."

haha, i've heard it my whole life, but never adopted it myself. My wife says hosepipe, and she is south african as hell. I always wondered why the ONE redneck word she used was hosepipe, but now I see it is common in her world.

I'm a southern born and raised middle eastern redneck myself.

To me, it's a water hose to me. I've actually NEVER heard it called a hose pipe.
