So I'm interested in getting a projector that I can set up outside and watch movies/play games. I don't particularly feel the need to get a high end HD projector, just something that will accept composite input (or possibly component or HDMI if I go with an HD).

Does anyone have any experience with this? Is there anything I need to consider (lumens output, can I do this without a screen, etc?). I figure there's something I'm not aware of, so I want to gather as much info as I can. I figure I'll watch ebay or maybe get something from Tiger Direct. Thanks for the advice.

you're going to need a very high lumen count to get it to show up any time outside late night. we had one setup at the track to watch tv on the side of one of the RVs at night but it's completely useless before 8 or 9
