You know once the Tea Party officially boots them from the GOP.

In order to set the image, the GOP needs to go young, non-white, gay, and muslim

Saw him speak at the national convention in Charlotte. While I'd have a hard time seeing him as a Presidential candidate, I think VP isn't out of the question. I don't know a lot about his positions or record, but I've heard some good things.

Claiming to have performed an exorcism that cured cancer might play okay in the swamps of Louisiana, but I don't think it would play well nationally.

^I'm sorry that everyone you know is backwards like that, but many of us would vote for her, especially if her opponent turned out to seem Rethuggish.

Condoleeza for President 2016

hopefully not everyone would be too backwards to vote for an African American female rather than a white woman or the current half-white male President

Hopefully she can make it through the primaries without sounding like a Rethug

unless she jumps ship, runs as a conservative Democrat, and ends up being the clear favorite outside the Deep South and competitive inside it

Hillary, O'Malley, Cuomo, and Biden are all names I've heard bandied about. I haven't really heard Booker suggested. He's going for Governor anyways, so I don't think he's going for President, at least not in 2016. I don't know who a front runner would be, while it's fun to speculate, it's the day after the election so it's way too early to say.

^Castro is only a mayor. Granted it's of the 7th most populous city in the US, and granted he can give an inspirational speech, but I think that's still too big of a leap. Although maybe he could manage it, especially if there was a lot of experience at the top to balance it out.

cuomo is such a horrible public speaker - there is no way i could get behind that.

and i still don't think hillary will run.

and it's not that far out... as soon as the 2014 midterms are over, they start running

more people voted for Obama in the 08' Dem primary than Hillary

plus she's getting old, and probably kind of tired of politics, imo

I think Booker would be a solid VP candidate.

Or maybe governor of NJ and then VP. I think he is only in his early 40's

"The New Jersey Democrat assured the LGBT caucus (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) gathered here at the Democratic National Convention that a marriage-equality bill would soon pass in the state, and it could be his signature that enacts it into law.

“I’m telling you right now, it’s not a matter of if we’re going to win marriage-equality in New Jersey," Booker said. "It’s a matter of when we’re going to win it. And I know in my heart of hearts, if God is willing, I will be there on that day that bill is signed. I might even have a very good seat when it gets done.”"

The guy lived in the shittiest projects in newark while serving as a city councilor and ran into a burning building and saved a woman. Also the bloods wanted him dead.

he could have a platform based on fucking my cousin and i would vote for him.

I think with her at the top of the ticket then a mayor could maybe the jump to VP. There might be others too, but I think it takes a lot of experience at the top of the ticket to make a mayor viable at the bottom. And Secretary of State, US Senator, and First Lady is a lot of experience.

If she doesn't get into it, I think a lot of people are going to throw their hats into the ring, including several people that we aren't even thinking of right now, and that it's going to be a pretty crowded primary.
