In terms of total payout from the actual win the annuity is probably the better option, but I don't think that accounts for the effects of inflation. In reality your annuity payment is less valuable every year, but the lump sum will actually grow significantly in value with even conservative investment.

Honestly if I won, I would take the yearly payout, and donate about 80% of it. I'd pay off the house and Silverado, buy a newer second vehicle (probably a Tahoe) and add a screened in porch to the house. Maybe buy the 30 acre farm beside my lot so another neighborhood doesn't go up beside mine.
