I mean, they say black dont crack...and thats true when we are alive we tend to look at a younger age than an equally aged white person

but when we laid up in the casket it looks like it puts ten + years on us. White people laid up dead look their age.

There is usually a bunch of crying for show, 3 people sing solos and its a typical black church sermon related to how honorable someone was if the deceased was old or not missing an opportunity if the deceased was young. Poor black people will let anyone get up and talk and say whatever they want (shit lasts HOURS). Rich black people will pick 2 or 3 people to say something. Also there is always a killer meal afterwards. The people who cry the hardest usually laugh the hardest and are the most talkative during dinner. Shits all fake.

I never go up view. I've only been to one funeral my whole life though.

It was for a friend's sister, which I had only met once. But the place was so sad...I cried so hard, even though I didn't have a close relationship to her.

Pretty freaky how she died too. One night she was just sitting on her couch watching T.V, she got up and boom, fell to the floor, couldn't move her legs. I can't remember the official diagnosis, but basically, her own immune cells attacked her spinal cord. She died of a high fever.

Any one have any idea what this could be? Spontaneous immune attack on body.

I've been to a number of African funerals and have not found this to be the case.

But in a similar vein, the tendency in Africa tends to be for people to look very, very young for their age, until they hit 40, at which point they look like a tan Methusela.
