the last time i was with a bunch of guys and we had rented an rv, we ended up getting our vehicle searched down real good by cops, looking for drugs.

apparently, a bachelorette party had rented that rv before us.

the cops kept pulling out straws that looked like dicks and other dong shaped things from between the seats and the walls, and other such crannies. we had no idea these things were in the rv, and it was difficult to stop laughing. the cop that was watching us as we stood outside the vehicle wasn't as amused.

same as renting a car, iirc.

i'd suggest using a different company to get your grey water dumped and refill the fresh water prior to returning. kind of like when you rent a car and fill it up with gas before you take it back.

they charge you for sticking a water hose in the fill cap?

i can understand dumping the gray and black tanks, but you'd think they'd want it empty to prevent freezing

nrr, you know how these things work.

if it's possible to charge for something, they will. and at a high premium.

yeah, i guess so. is it full of water when you receive it from them? first thing i'd do is drain that thing. water's cheap, gas is not.

yep.

and watch your generator use. they mark the hour counter reading before you take it, and you get charged $x/hr for machine use, upon return.

Depending on how long you rent it it seems like you can almost buy a Shit used one for the rental cost. I had one for 6 months and only paid 2k and sold it for 2k after. It was a class c and I think had the 350 chassis.
