lol, nope. The kids in my high school were jackasses. They would have pissed off a teacher and gotten shot in the neck on like the third day of class.

I think only criminals and crazy people should have guns. Law abiding citizens should not be allowed to have guns.

One teacher in my high school obeyed the law by having sex with female students. Another obeyed the law when he was busted with an 8 ball.

should we arm all teachers? naw

but if the principal/vice principal want to keep some guns locked up in their office in case things get dicey, i got no problem with that.

Well, I think we should look into ammunition sales and restrictions, instead of straicter gun laws. I mean its fine to protect our home, but you don't need 1000 rounds to do so.

i'm glad most of my teachers weren't packing. it probably would have been safer if a 10-year old me had a gun in class.

reload, just like a lot of the .223 folks are buying in stores these days. they call it "remanufactured" . i've never had a misfire or jam with one of my reloads. much more accurate than factory ammo.

[Edited on December 18, 2012 at 9:00 PM. Reason : don't shoot some toothless ricky's reloads, dude]

I have never fired a reloaded .223, but I buy reloaded .40 for shooting on the range with my pistol. I hardly ever get through a magazine without at least 1 jam

But then again, comparing a semi-auto pistol to a semi-auto rifle is apples to oranges.

don't buy those saran-wrapped trays of reloads at the gunshow, then

i reload for two semi-auto pistols as well. .45 ACP for a 1911 and .380 Auto for an LCP. never had a jam or misfire with my reloads. factory ammo is a different story.

^ lol, nah I usually get them from Dick's. Funny story though, I bought a bag of reloads from a guy at a gun show that was literally that......a bag. It was in a zip-lock. I probably don't even need to elaborate on how reliable those were.

Did all ya'll school not have a resource officer? I grew up in the burbs on the good side of town. Went to a predominantly WASP public school and we had a police officer there every day. He had his own little office, semi-automatic weapon etc. Is this not common?

Teachers who have CCW permits/license should be allowed to carry on campus. I'd be okay with a strict semi-annual performance evaluation to make sure they stay on top of firearm proficiency should they choose to carry on campus.

they are actually trying to pass this in Texas. Rick Perry is of the opinion that if you have a CHL you should be able to carry anywhere!!

you've heard wrong, it wasn't any worse than certain areas of the country are today. actually it was better as far as crime goes

If only locking your guns in a safe were a sure way to prevent a 20 year old who was intent on getting ahold of the guns inside.

^^what? unless he knew the combination, he wouldn't get into a locked safe, no matter how determined he was. unless he had dynamite. but then he may have just used the dynamite at the school and wouldn't have needed the guns.

.... simple way: 4.5" angle grinder & about (20) cut-off wheels. add a reciprocating saw and/or dremel and you'd be inside of that thing in abou 20mins

elaborate way: plasma cutter.

- most gun safes nowadays are made from metal ranging from 12ga (0.1046") to 7ga (0.1875"). what's shown in the picture is teh folded sides of each wall sheet.
