I actually am glad to hear this as I think we should go with our most athletic QB given Doeren's system. Funny thing is that I'm in an NCAA fantasy league and Mitchell is listed as a WR/QB meaning you can play him at WR even if he's starting at QB. I thought I was going to be all slick and steal him and use this strategy and some other douche who isn't even a NC State fan beat me to the punch

Yeah, that's what I was hoping too. Using Mitchell this year would probably be better in the long-run, as we'll cater the offense to an athletic QB instead of a pocket passer. It will probably be a lot closer to the offense when run next year when Brissett presumably takes over.

Can't help but feel a little bad for Pete Thomas though.

I am hopeful that our clock management will be better under this new staff. It always baffled me how TOB could be such an old-school, disciplined coach and he (and/or his staff) sucked when it came to clock management.

guys, me and the wife got tickets to the game on Saturday but i have no parking passes with them. Where can i park? whats the best place? is there a shuttle? ...in the past I've always gotten passes but this year we bought the season 5 pack.

Don't park at KMart. You will get towed guaranteed. Vet School lot is always free and pretty good tailgating atmosphere. Can also park along the tracks on Hillsborough St.

No shuttle and long walks. Occasionally there is a rickshaw company that gives rides to the stadium.

walks to and from the railroad tracks on gameday are so eventful and full of tailgating that you don't even notice how long the walk is.

also,(unless its state fair) you don't have to wait in any traffic ever and finding a spot doesn't take any time at all.

Yeah definitely not at K-mart, used to park there no problem like 2006-2009ish but they've started towing in the last year or two. Found that out the fucking hard way this past basketball season. I've never had a problem parking around the railroad tracks on Hillsborough if you can't get any closer.
