YouTube doesn't do unique views, right?

so basically anyone can reload the page and +1 view count for the video?

so why is that gangnam video getting that many views such a big deal

I've never seen it, and haven't contributed a single view, but I just don't understand :3

^I don't believe that's how YouTube views work. I think you have to actually watch the whole or majority of the video for it to count, but that might just be ad revenue I'm thinking of.

I think you can just reload and it goes up

yeah, I just checked on my page

it won't show on the video page itself, but it'll show in my personal videos page (that lists your uploads) that it went up one
